Early, On Time, Late and Omitted doses table
Triscribe has recently updated these analytics to add on time, early and late doses.
Omitted doses has been a major area for Triscribe since we started. Triscribe has recently updated these analytics to add on time, early and late doses. You can watch a short video showing how this works here.
About the Early, On time, Late, Omitted doses table
The fresh addition is a table that shows early, on time, late and omitted doses for every ward in your hospital. The default shows the percentage of doses in each category. A simple checkbox adds the dose count behind each percentage. Click on any cell in the table to show the drug breakdown for each category.
You can use filters to narrow down the table by selecting specific wards or care groups. You can also change the range of dates reviewed. Both shorter, yesterday or last week, and longer, for up to a year.
Example use case
Reviewing percentages, a pharmacist might notice a group of wards where the level of late doses is increasing. Using the drug breakdown shows that co-amoxiclav accounts for many late doses.
A quick call to the ward manager establishes they need a local stock of co-amoxiclav to hand in that part of the hospital. An easy fix to supply the medicine stock results in immediate improvement.
I chose this example because the new table helps in several ways. It highlights potential risks with safe and effective administration of medicines. It can also show simple practical steps that might help your teams save time.
Parkinson’s medication
Triscribe still has analytics for late administration of Parkinson’s medication, including the time series shown below. We understand that timing for Parkinson’s medicines is an important issue. So we have added the early, on time, late, omitted table in the Parkinson’s tile to make it easily accessible.
